Terms of Service

1. The service
Daira provides AI-assisted bookkeeping tools: recording invoices, bills, and journal entries; reconciling bank statements; and posting to the accounting system you connect. Daira prepares and suggests; you review and confirm. Nothing is written to your accounting system without an explicit confirmation from a member of your workspace.
2. Your account and workspace
You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. Actions taken under your account are yours. Workspace owners control membership: they approve join requests, send invitations, and may remove access.
3. Your data
Your books belong to you. We process the data you provide (documents, statements, accounting records, and credentials for systems you connect) solely to provide the service. Connected-system credentials are stored encrypted. We do not sell your data. You may export your records and disconnect integrations at any time.
4. Not professional advice
Daira is software, not an accountant, auditor, or tax advisor. Outputs — including AI-generated suggestions, categorisations, and VAT treatments — can be wrong and are provided for you to review. You are responsible for the accuracy of your books and filings; consult a qualified professional for advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach other workspaces, no probing or disrupting the infrastructure, and no use of the service to process data you have no right to process.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties. We may change or discontinue features; for material reductions we will give reasonable notice.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daira is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
